Wanted Grande Prairie Man Arrested for Drug Offences

Grande Prairie… A wanted Grande Prairie man was arrested by ALERT and charged with new drug trafficking offences this week. More than $15,000 in cocaine and methamphetamine was seized from a vehicle occupied by the wanted man.
Andre Rozon was arrested on April 25, 2018, by investigators with ALERT’s Grande Prairie organized crime team. The 43-year-old man was wanted on a warrant stemming from a previous ALERT drug trafficking investigation that concluded in September 2017.
Rozon’s latest arrest came after he was stopped in a vehicle, along with co-accused Nolan Knibbs. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 157 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of methamphetamine, 0.2 grams of heroin, and $1,970 cash proceeds of crime.
Rozon was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (x 2), possession of proceeds of crime, and breach of recognizance (x 3).
Knibbs, 27, was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (x 2).
