Fort McMurray… Three Fort McMurray residents suspected of trafficking cocaine have been charged following an ALERT investigation.
In September, ALERT Fort McMurray organized crime team received information in response to community concerns related to trafficking cocaine.
Their investigation culminated with a search warrant being executed on November 4th, 2022 at a home and a vehicle in the Eagle Ridge neighbourhood. Wood Buffalo RCMP provided assistance with the search of the home, where the following items were seized:
“ALERT is committed to keeping these drugs off our streets. We work hand-in-hand with our partners at Wood Buffalo RCMP to keep Fort McMurray a safe community,” said S/Sgt. Ryan Harrison, ALERT Fort McMurray.
A total of eight criminal offences, including drug trafficking and weapons were laid against three suspects:
Martin, Sieben and White have been released with their next scheduled court date taking place in Fort McMurray on December 13, 2022.
