Medicine Hat… Deux carabines, des milliers de cartouches et 40 000 $ de drogue ont été saisis après qu’ALERT ait exécuté des mandats de perquisition à Medicine Hat.
Le 13 février, ALERT Medicine Hat Police Service (MHPS) a conclu une enquête de trois mois sur le trafic de drogue et les armes à feu après la perquisition de deux maisons de Medicine Hat et l’arrestation de sept trafiquants de drogue présumés. ALERT MHPS est une équipe intégrée composée de membres de MHPS et de la GRC.
ALERT MHPS a fouillé des maisons sur Ranchland Boulevard Northeast et Somerset Lane Southeast. ALERT MHPS a saisi pour 40 000 $ de cocaïne, d’héroïne et d’autres drogues :
Deux carabines SKS ont été saisies ainsi que des milliers de cartouches et un chargeur chargé de 25 cartouches. Les deux armes à feu ont été récemment acquises par des moyens frauduleux et l’un des fusils avait déjà son numéro de série effacé.
Sept personnes ont été arrêtées et accusées d’un total de 41 infractions pénales liées à la drogue et aux armes à feu :
