Edmonton…Ten people have been arrested, including one member of the Hells Angels motorcycle club, and they are facing a total of 39 drug and weapon related charges with the conclusion of an Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) investigation.
On January 30th, ALERT’s Edmonton Combined Forces and Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) executed four simultaneous search warrants with the assistance of Edmonton Police Service (EPS) and RCMP members. Three of the homes were located in Edmonton and one in St. Albert.
At the homes, police seized:
Blake Christie, 32, was arrested at a North Edmonton home and was the focus of the investigation. He is a member of the Hells Angels motorcycle club and a loaded handgun was seized from his Edmonton home. Christie remains in custody and stands accused of 11 charges, including:
In addition to Christie, nine people face an additional 28 charges. The investigation remains on-going and more charges could be forthcoming. The accused include:
Warrants have also been issued for Terri Huebner, 31, and Kendra Christie, 33. They face six charges each in relation to the investigation.
