Grande Prairie Man Wanted in Connection with Fentanyl Seizure

Grande Prairie… A warrant has been issued for a 22-year-old Grande Prairie man following an ALERT fentanyl trafficking investigation.

Justin Myles Stuart is being sought by ALERT Grande Prairie’s organized crime and gang team for possession for the purpose of trafficking (x 2) and possession of proceeds of crime. A search warrant was executed at Stuart’s residence on the morning of July 22, 2016, but he was not located.

As result of the search warrant ALERT seized 423 fentanyl pills, 21 grams of methamphetamine, and $1,530 in cash proceeds of crime.

The search warrant was executed in the 9000-block of 105 Avenue in Grande Prairie and three people were arrested. Laurie Willier, 29, Abel Araya, 34, and Eden Maclean, 22, have been jointly charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (x 2) and possession of proceeds of crime. Araya also faces breach charges.

Anyone with information concerning Stuart’s whereabouts is asked to contact local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers is always anonymous.

ALERT began the investigation in June after receiving information about a suspected fentanyl dealer operating in the Grande Prairie area.
