Four Medicine Hat Men Arrested on Drug Charges

Medicine Hat…Four Medicine Hat men have been arrested on drug charges by Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT).

   

Medicine Hat Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), an integrated team made up Medicine Hat Police Service (MHPS) and RCMP members, made the arrests after executing three simultaneous search warrants in the Medicine Hat on April 5th.

   

After searching the three homes investigators found over $20,000 worth of drugs and seized proceeds of crime, including:  

  • 43 grams of cocaine; 
  • 17 grams of MDMA; 
  • 75 grams of marihuana; 
  • $4,000 cash; 
  • 2004 Hummer SUV.   

Four people were arrested and face a total of eight charges:  

  • Derec Trekofski, 22 years old; 
  • Jeremiah Amero, 24 years old; 
  • Calen Anton, 18 years old; 
  • Kodi Sadler, 25 years old.   

Trekofski is scheduled to appear in court in April 8th, Amero for April 10th, Anton and Sadler are both set to appear on April 22nd.
