Edmonton… ALERT with the assistance of the RCMP and Edmonton Police Service, is currently conducting an investigation into a possible clandestine drug lab.
Three search warrants were executed in Edmonton, Leduc County, and Red Deer County on December 9. The search of a rural property in Leduc County continues with the RCMP Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response (CLEAR) team involved. A wide variety of precursors, chemicals, and equipment are in process of being analyzed.
Seven people have been arrested so far and the investigation remains on-going.
