Drayton Valley Drug Dealers Busted
Edmonton… Three people accused of drug trafficking offences have been arrested in Drayton Valley, following a joint investigation between Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) and Drayton Valley RCMP.
On November 21, ALERT Edmonton concluded a drug trafficking investigation with three arrests and a search warrant being executed at a Drayton Valley home. The search of the home resulted in the seizure of nearly $30,000 worth of cocaine, methamphetamine, and marihuana, along with nearly $5,000 in cash proceeds of crime.
Dwight Lewis, 24, Ryan Nordquist, 33, and Crystal Pilon, 31, have been charged with a total of 18 offences relating to drug trafficking.
The project was initiated to address public safety concerns related to the drug trade in Drayton Valley.
ALERT was established and is funded by the Alberta Government and is a compilation of the province’s most sophisticated law enforcement resources committed to tackling serious and organized crime. Nearly 400 municipal police, RCMP, and sheriffs work in ALERT.
