Lethbridge… Fentanyl pills and powder worth an estimated $118,000 were seized following an ALERT investigation in southern Alberta.

Click for more info.”]organized crime and gang team[/alert-tooltip] concluded the three-month investigation on August 8, 2019, by conducting a vehicle stop with assistance from Lethbridge Police Service, as well as executing a search warrant at a home in Coalhurst with the help of Lethbridge RCMP.
Between the vehicle and the home, investigators seized:
Carfentanil is a synthetic opioid and fentanyl analog. It is approximately 100 times more toxic than fentanyl.
“This is a significant amount of drugs to take out of southern Alberta communities,” said Insp. Sean Boser, ALERT regional teams. “Investigations like this one are key to meeting our goal of keeping communities safe.”
Herman Dhami, 25, was arrested and charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking (x3) and possession of proceeds of crime.
