Calgary… Two suspected drug dealers were arrested after methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine were seized from a home in Calgary’s Panorama Hills neighbourhood.
ALERT Calgary’s organized crime and gang team made the seizure on August 27, 2020. Calgary Police Service helped search the home and two vehicles, where the drugs were seized.
ALERT seized an estimated $112,000 worth of drugs and cash, which included:
Two people were charged: To Sang Wong, a 57-year-old man from Calgary, and Thao Le, a 41-year-old woman from Calgary. Wong was arrested by ALERT in January 2020 for similar drug trafficking offences.
“ALERT relies on criminal intelligence, and once we received information that this suspect was back in business, we acted quickly to make an arrest,” said Staff Sgt. Jeff Ringelberg, ALERT Calgary.
