ALERT Makes Million-Dollar Drug Seizure in Edmonton

Edmonton… ALERT has seized more than a million dollars’ worth of drugs after search warrants were carried out at three Edmonton homes. Three people have been charged. ALERT Edmonton’s organized crime and gang team seized nearly nine kilograms of cocaine, along with methamphetamine and cannabis resin. Group Home Worker Charged with Sex Assault

Edmonton… An Edmonton group home worker has been arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a youth in his care. ALERT’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit arrested Samer Temraz on November 2, 2018, and charged the 40-year-old man with numerous offences related to child sexual exploitation and child pornography. Calgary Man Arrested for Firearms Straw Purchasing

Calgary… An ALERT investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old Calgary man for firearms straw purchasing. Project Maverick Dismantles Cocaine Trafficking Network
