ALERT offers competitive salaries and participates in a group retirement saving plan.
Regular full-time employees and their families receive a comprehensive benefits program following the prescribed waiting period and subject to the terms of the plans.
Some ALERT facilities provide access to an on-site fitness centre accessible to all employees.
Full-time employees also benefit from a personal health spending account.
Compressed work weeks are an option for employees. The number of daily hours an employee will work may vary, but all are expected to work 80 hours over every two-week period.
ALERT believes in an environment where all employees are given the opportunity to contribute and learn. We encourage personal and professional growth within ALERT, which ultimately depends on the desire to succeed.
New employees start at two-weeks paid vacation. ALERT recognizes 12 statutory holidays, including National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The work we do is about our communities, and that’s why we recognize that residents can be instrumental in tackling serious crime. If you or someone you know has been the victim of a crime, or you suspect criminal activity, please reach out. Your information will remain strictly confidential.
Thank you for helping to make Alberta safer by being actively involved and reporting suspicious activity.
