Horaire de travail flexible

- Manage the recruitment and selection process for ALERT corporate employees
- Develop, implement and monitor HR strategies and initiatives aligned with corporate objectives
- Develop and manage assigned operational budgets to support operational and strategic needs
- Proactively manage conflict and performance, while fostering a positive workplace culture through policies, programs, events, and HR-focused internal communications
- Provide briefings, advise and expertise on handling of employee relations matters related to discrimination, harassment, and violence in the workplace
- Anticipate and address the impact(s) of large-scale corporate and legislative changes as they relate to employment regulations
- Assist the executive with implementation of short and long-term operational and strategic planning
- Provide guidance to executive leadership on complex HR-related cases
- Research, develop and implement internal wellness strategies, plans and procedures
- Research and administer employee engagement and wellness activities
- Create annual employee engagement and wellness plans
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation; assist in developing and implementing health & safety policies and programs
- Assist managers with employee development and performance management
- In coordination with ALERT Training section, develop and deliver new employee orientation and ongoing mental health and wellness training
- Maintain benefits and employment records
- Process short and long-term disability claims and develop an effective return to work program for injured employees
- Establish and maintain relationships with policing partners, human resource and training departments and mental health professionals
- University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum three years of human resource management related experience, preferably in a law enforcement setting; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or CPHR candidate is an asset
- Knowledge of and skill in the application of provincial labour legislation, regulations, policy frameworks, business processes and practices governing human resource management.
